At Muzweda Sand and Bricks, we are committed to supplying high-quality construction materials and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. Due to the nature of our products, this Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, or refunds may be considered.
1. Non-Returnable Products
- Products such as sand, aggregates, concrete mix, and bricks are bulk materials that cannot be returned once delivered and offloaded.
- Once materials have been signed for on delivery, they are considered accepted and non-returnable.
- We therefore encourage customers to carefully confirm order quantities, specifications, and delivery details before finalizing purchases.
2. Incorrect or Damaged Deliveries
- If you receive an incorrect order (e.g., wrong type of sand or brick), you must notify us immediately on delivery before the driver leaves the site.
- In cases where incorrect products were supplied due to our error, we will arrange for collection and replacement at no additional cost to you.
- If products are damaged during delivery, customers must report it upon receipt, and we will investigate and provide a replacement where applicable.
3. Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled before dispatch with no cancellation fee.
- Once materials have been loaded for delivery or delivered, cancellations will not be accepted.
- For bulk or special orders, a cancellation fee may apply to cover handling and logistics costs already incurred.
4. Refunds
- Refunds are only applicable in cases of incorrect product supply or failed delivery due to our fault.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days via the original method of payment (e.g., EFT).
- Refunds will not be issued for customer errors such as over-ordering, incorrect product selection, or unsuitable delivery site conditions.
5. Customer Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, site accessibility, and ensuring that materials ordered are suitable for their intended use.
- Once materials are offloaded at the customer’s site, Muzweda Sand and Bricks is not responsible for contamination, damage, or incorrect usage.
6. Dispute Resolution
- If there is a dispute regarding a delivery, return, or refund, Muzweda Sand and Bricks will investigate the matter fairly and in good faith.
- Should resolution not be reached, the matter will be handled under South African law and relevant consumer protection regulations.
